Types and main contents of mineral processing tests at each stage
Nov 05, 2024The types of mineral processing tests include: exploratory tests, selectivity tests, laboratory process tests, laboratory expanded continuous tests, on-site mineral processing production process inspections and optimization tests, etc.
1. Exploratory test
Purpose: To find a suitable mineral processing method and preliminarily determine the process plan.
Main test contents:
(1) Ore chemical analysis, including ore spectrum analysis, chemical element analysis, mineral composition analysis, etc.);
(2) Ore sorting test: when the properties of the ore are unknown, single or combined process exploration tests are carried out with reference to the ore sorting methods of the same type of ore, mainly including gravity separation, flotation, magnetic separation, photoelectric separation, roasting, leaching and the combination of the above process methods.
2. Optional testing
Purpose: Based on the ascertainment of ore properties and the occurrence of useful, beneficial and harmful components, an industrially applicable process flow is used to conduct mineral processing test research, determine the selectivity of the ore and the distribution of the main useful, beneficial and harmful components in the processing and smelting process, evaluate the comprehensive recovery and utilization, and provide a basis for the industrial evaluation of the ore deposit in the geological detailed exploration stage.
Main test contents:
(1) Ore property analysis, including spectral analysis, multi-element analysis, phase analysis, mineral composition analysis, rock and mineral identification analysis, particle size screening analysis, etc.;
(2) Ore sorting tests, including grinding fineness tests, exploratory tests to determine principle processes, and tests to optimize process conditions.
Gravity sorting: particle size, graded selection, tailings, Nelson gravity field value, process structure, middling treatment and comprehensive conditions full process test, etc.;
Photoelectric sorting: selected particle size, feature modeling, dissociation degree analysis, waste enrichment, mineral processing test, process planning, etc.;
Flotation: grinding fineness, type and dosage of adjusting agent, type and dosage of collecting agent, reagent formula, dosing location, grinding and flotation process structure (including number of grinding stages, grinding location, number of flotation roughing, concentrating, scavenging stages, middling treatment, etc.), grinding fineness verification test, etc., full-process open-circuit test under comprehensive conditions, and full-process closed-circuit test under comprehensive conditions;
